Feby’s opinion about article of The Jakarta Post edition March 8, 2010.

I do agree about this article with the title “Chinese products flood Bali market”. I think it is really happened. This really give effects to Bali’s economic.

Since applying of regulation of China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) early this year, government profited from Chinese product’s tax. But for Bali market, had some bad effects of this ASEAN’s agreement. According to me, Chinese products flooding Bali market can make worried the Balinese producers to distribution their products. Even some Chinese products had to imitated merk from Balinese products and they confessing their product is original from Bali. Though, products is reality made in China. Besides influencing quality, flooding of Chinese product also can close opportunity of middle and small industry in Bali to reach for market. And also, difference of knowledge of Chinese producers better than Balinese. This problem can make Balinese original product market more getting down.

I hope, government having ways to save our local producer and products. It is can make healthy competition between Chinese and original’s Balinese products. So Balinese products can’t fail to compete in their local market.
